spring fashion.

it has always bothered me that the fashion shows are shown so much in advance. sometimes i have trouble remembering what i want to wear now because there is so much inspiration for future seasons! so i have been going through the spring 2010 shows and picked out a few looks for spring that i really love.

stella mccartney. this is spring in it's fullest glory! yes, all the ruffles might be a bit much for your everyday bike ride to work, but the colors, textures, and patterns are just 100% beautiful.

boy by band of outsiders. classic menswear works for every season, doesn't it? and i love the touch of muted floral, it keeps the blazer from being too severe.

burberry. it's hard to make pastels not look super young, but burberry definitely made it happen. the key is pairing a softer color palette with a more structural silhouette. because really, when was the last time i was actually drawn to lavender?

rachel comey. i just had to show multiple images of her show! her mix of patterns is right up my alley. and in terms of a little dress that is a touch sexier, i think she does it right. the brown color of that strapless number keeps it from being too sweet or overly feminine.

celine. i love the mix of tan, camel, and white. this is also a look i think you could replicate pretty easily with less expensive items. it looks so clean and chic.
